My dear Friends,
It is simply amazing how the time flies when you’re having fun! This weekend and I will have been a priest for 40years. Obviously I was ordained as a child. And, come to think of it there have been some meetings where every second has weighed heavy! But I cannot believe that it is 40 years. I’d like to invite you to share with me in what is a milestone occasion for me and my family on Sunday morning. The bishop offered to preach for me, although I will preside over our worship, and afterwards I’m bring down a few bottles of some nice red and whites and some very special low alcohol rosé, along with sparkling grape juice and some little treats and nibbles so do, if you can, please come and join us!
Our services of prayer and worship this weekend are:
- Friday evening at 6pm: Compline for an Ember Day (A Day of Thanksgiving for all God’s blessings)
- Sunday at 10.30am: Holy Communion: Bishop Peter preaches, Andie presides at
- 6pm: Celtic Communion
