Bible Time! With Father Andrew
Bible Time! is where we discuss the Bible in a relaxed and enjoyable way, and every gathering is followed by cake with tea & coffee!
Compline
This is a short traditional meditative service with prayers, readings and times of silence. The service is live streamed on St George’s FB page and in person in the memorial chapel. It lasts approx. 30mins.
Holy Communion
Join us on Sunday for Holy Communion, with FairTrade refreshments served following the service. This service is livestreamed on the Facebook page.
Evening Prayer
A short reflective service with bible readings, sermon and prayers and lasts approx. 45mins. It may be in contemporary or traditional language. It is held in the small memorial chapel.
Tea & Chat
Hosted by two of our team who provide an endless supply of tea/coffee, cakes and biscuits.
Snooker Club
Come and play a friendly game of snooker with a great group of people. All skill levels welcome.
Prayer Group
The group prays for the world, the Island and the sick of the Parish and Diocese. The meetings are led by a number of different members and lasts approximately 30-45 minutes and is followed by a cup of tea and fellowship. All are welcome to come along and join us in prayer.
Bellringing Practice
Anyone can learn ringing. The entry qualifications are you have to be able to reach your hands above your head, and be able to count up to six.
