The IOM Poetry Trail has been successfully run for many years. It is a poetry competition for adults. The 20 winning poems by 20 poets are printed on beautiful bright yellow A3 posters and displayed in shops, cafés and library windows from 15th September to 31st October. This year the 10 venues in Douglas are supplemented by 5 venues in Ramsey and 5 venues in Peel. There will be Trail Guides in Douglas, Peel and Ramsey Town Libraries. Why not pick one up during the Trail and see which poems you can find.
A special evening is being held to launch the 2021 Poetry Trail. The 20 winning poems will be read out in a celebration of poetry. The poems that did not win are displayed too.
